• 🎉 London Careers Festival - The London Careers Festival is an annual summer event which seeks to connect over 20,000 pupils from primary to post 16 with the world of work, fueling imaginations, developing skills, and inspiring futures - with more than 120 organisations involved, it’s going to be a good opportunity for students!. This year’s event will be a blend of virtual and in-person as follows:

  • Virtual festival 20 – 24 June

  • In-person festival 27 June – 1 July

• 📚 Free library of videos for students who love books - If you don’t already know about the Hay Festivals’ ‘Hay Player’ section of their website, then time to get acquainted! Simply type in ‘school’ into the search bar and discover a plethora of recorded content from previous festivals that’s useful for students of all ages - for young people interested in writing, reading, poetry, history, publishing and anything else book-related, this is the resource for them to explore and be inspired by.

• 🥳 Free festival of creative careers in Plymouth - Plymouth’s IGNITE Festival of Creativity returns. Award-winning festival and digital platform for city’s creative young people returns. This year sees the addition of IGNITE Future Careers, a seven-week programme of recruitment and careers activities, live and online, presented for creative graduates and students by local, regional and national businesses. IGNITE Future Careers, which will also be open to the public and run from Monday 6 June to Friday 15 July, acts as an immersive way for audiences to connect directly with employers.

• 🌱 My Environment My Future website launches - My Environment My Future (MEMF) is a free-to-use school programme which embeds knowledge, resources and guidance on careers within the built environment into the delivery of the core GCSE and A-level Geography curriculum. In order to support teachers showcasing the built environment careers, My Environment My Future comprises GSCE and A-level geography teaching resources, along with an optional nationwide schools competition and a standalone extra-curricular after school club.
